In 1977 Kevin had the honor of photographing Emperor Hirohoto’s first step on American soil

In 1976 Kevin McCowan worked side by side with David Hume Kennerly to photograph President Ford as he visited Pearl Harbor for the Bi-Centenial celebrations. CNN ran this photo during Fords funeral service

Donald Rumsfeld 1976

In 1976 Kevin McCowan photographed Donald Rumsfeld as Secretary of Defense under President Ford. Kevin took this photo during a press conference at Hickham AFB, then printed two 11x14 prints while Rumsfeld was in conference with Admiral Noel Gayler. Just hours later , Kevin presented Rumsfeld with the two photos, Rumsfeld signed this one for Kevin and kept the other one.

From 1970 to present Kevin McCowan has had the privilege to photograph Politians, Heads of State, Entertainers, Movie Stars and other famous people.
